Show notes:

In the first segment, our panelists discuss the challenges religious employees face with mandated DEI trainings in the workplace. Following a landmark Supreme Court decision in Groff v. DeJoy, religious workers now have a stronger legal foundation to request accommodations or opt out of DEI programs that conflict with their faith. The discussion explores how this decision shifts the balance between faith-based objections and workplace diversity requirements.

In the second segment of the show, we explore the court case M.C. and J.C. v. Indiana Department of Child Services, where Catholic parents are fighting to regain custody of their son after a state court removed him for their refusal to use pronouns inconsistent with his biological sex. The case raises crucial questions about parental rights and religious freedoms in the context of child welfare and state intervention.
