Show notes:
In the first segment of the episode, our panelists discuss the Southern Baptist Convention’s bold 2024 resolution opposing Christian nationalism. The resolution reaffirms religious liberty and rejects the notion of a state-mandated religion. Drawing on historical Baptist principles, the conversation explores the dangers of intertwining faith with political power and the reaffirmation of liberty of conscience in modern America.
In the second segment of the show, we explore the court case Frankel v. Regents of the University of California, addressing allegations of antisemitism at UCLA. The case stems from protests that created a “Jew Exclusion Zone,” blocking Jewish students from campus access. We examine the implications for free speech, campus safety, and holding institutions accountable for discriminatory actions.
