Carmela Monk Crawford is Editor of Message Magazine which is the is the oldest and most widely circulated religious journal addressing ethnic issues in the country. Carmela is a Writer, Editor, Persuasive Storyteller, Legal Counsel and Thought Leader. Message Magazine.

Carmela spent most of her legal career in private practice in Dayton Ohio, advocating for children who were in trouble with the law.

She was an Adjunct Professor of Law at Central State University and an Assistant Public Defender in Dayton, Ohio.

She received her J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
